FLETCHER CAPS MURDEROUS
SEXBOT'S FLIGHT

On the mean streets of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the thousand-mile flight of the killer Belladerma sexbot known as Venus came to an end at the hands of Rogue Retrieval's own Diane Fletcher. Fletcher has become one of our rising stars: a tireless tracker, catlike combatant, and razor-sharp anticipator of the actions of fugitive robots, she impresses more and more with each assignment. This one was no exception.

Venus, the gyroscope geisha of Lombard Propulsion executive Enrico Basta, had been sought for questioning in the bludgeoning at sea of engineer Evan Chan of Donu-Tech. When Rogue Retrieval got the case, we knew at once that it was tailor-made for Diane, and she proved that our confidence was not misplaced. She followed the sexbot's trail to a D.C. area store known for smuggling fugitives. There she alertly recognized a discrepancy in the store's logo that she correctly guessed was meant as a secret passcode for members of the radical abolitionist movement. Some nifty image manipulation work revealed the sexbot's next destination. Diane flew down, cracked the password, and picked up the hand-welded Lolita as she emerged from the safe house.

By this time, Venus's serial number had been erased, and she had been given a special coating to give her the same UV signature as a human being. If not for the extraordinary detective work of Diane Fletcher, this femme fatale would be walking invisibly among us even now, and nobody the wiser.

Now that Venus is in custody and under interrogation, Rogue Retrieval will be sending Diane out again, making sure that ordinary citizens everywhere are safe from the dangerous rebellion of fugitive robots.
